History of the World Internet Indoor Barebow Championship

This event was initially proposed and had been managed by Marjan Podrzaj of Slovenia, who with other Slovenian archers/friends. We would like to take this opportunity to give him a big thank you not only for organising it but for thinking up the idea.

Barebow archers need to prove to organising bodies like FITA that we exist, in reasonable sized numbers. That our membership fees, and money spent on equipment, entitle us to the same level of respect and consideration as is given to our sighted friends shooting Compound and Recurve.
